What to eat in Da Lat?

Well known as an attractive place in the Central Highland. Da Lat is an attractive destination with beautiful landscape and delicious foods. There are several dishes that you must try when coming here. The dishes are made from the fresh produce at the ethnic farms around the hill town. With the cool climate, many kinds of vegetables and fruits grown here such as strawberry, artichokes, grapes, asparagus, coffee, and tea. 1. Banh Trang Kep ( Grilled Rice Paper With Egg)
This dish is famous as Vietnamese Pizza. Comprises of grilled rice paper with eggs, dried onion, some other toppings, and sauces. This is a snack with great flavor. The price is quite cheap between VND 10,000 - VND 25,000. it is a specialty of Da Lat that you must try when coming here.

2. Xam Xap (Dried beef salad)
Including sliced beef, green papaya, mint leaves, and peanut with fish sauce. Sometimes, they will add seasoned pork or beef innards. If you are not a fan of these toppings, you can ask the cooker to omit it. The best place to enjoy this dish is Ho Xuan Huong Lake.

3.  Banh Uot Long Ga (Wet Rice Cake With Boiled Chicken)
This is a popular street food in Da Lat. Comprise of chewy rice cake, boiled chicken meat, innards, bean sprout, and fresh basil. Somewhere in Da Lat, they add Banh Uot with Vietnamese Pork roll and Nem Chua (fermented pork sausage). You will be served with little difference toppings but it great. 

4. Banh Canh (Noodle Soup)
This dish consists of simmered pork meat and bones. You can enjoy it with fish cake, quail eggs, or fish ball. The price is about VND 15,000/bolw. It is a cheap dish but really delicious in Da Lat. In the cold weather, you enjoy a warm Banh Canh bowl. It is a perfect time for you. 

5.  Banh Mi Xiu Mai (Vietnamese Baguette with Meatball Soup)
This is the famous dish in Da Lat including crispy baguette with ground pork, onion, garlic, and minced mushroom. This food is suitable in the morning for a healthy day. Price for this dish is also cheap, between VND 10,000 - VND 20,000. 

6. Bun Bo (Beef Rice Noodle Soup)
This dish originates from Hue but you can find many restaurants providing this dish in Da Lat. Consisting of noodle, sliced beef, sliced banana flower, red pepper flakes, and lemongrass. This dish costs VND 35,000 but we highly recommended paying an extra VND 10,000 to add more sliced beef for your dish.
