Well known as an attractive destination in Quang Nam Province, Hoi An is now attracting so many visitors to come here every day. In order to discover this place, you have to use some kinds of means of transportation. There are many types of means for you to choose but today we will list some popular means of transportation for your tour as below 1. Bicycles
This is the popular means of transportation for your choice because it is easy to find in Hoi An and the rental fee is quite cheap. The road within Hoi An will be closed for taxis, cars, motorbikes and Xe Om from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Therefore, the bicycle is the best choice for you. You can easily rent a bicycle at any hotels or bike rental shops with around VND 30,000 per day. There are also cycling tours to discover the countryside, the rice field, the vegetable farm, fishing village, and the bamboo bridge.  2. Motorcycles
This will be the best option for those who don't like using the bicycle and would like to discover some other places in the distance such as rural villages, expansive coastlines, or Mable Mountain in Da Nang. The rental fee is around VND 100,000 per day including a standard motorbike and helmet. Please note that checking the conditions of the motorbike carefully such as the lights, brakes, horn, scratches, and dents. You should take the photos in some important parts to avoid any hassles when giving the motorbike back to the shop. And remember that you have to drive on the right-hand side of the road in Vietnam.  3. Pedicabs
This is the traditional type of transportation means in Hoi An. Offering the best means for you to discover the center of Hoi An. With the friendly and acknowledge riders, you not only have the best means of transportation but also have a funny tour guide during your trip in the center. They can give you some interesting information in places where you across in English. The cost for this means is about VND 22,000 per kilometer but you can negotiate with them to have the best price.  4. Taxis
This means of transportation is suitable for those who plan to visit some distant places. They are available in the outside of Hoi An Ancient Town and some reliable taxi companies for your choices such as Faifoo and Mai Linh. It is only about VND 250,000 - 350,000 (USD 10 - 15) from Hoi An to Da Nang International Airport.  It can be higher if your hotel arranges it for you.
