Awesome non-touristy things to do in Hanoi

Nowadays, Hanoi is famous as an attractive destination in Vietnam for travelers.  Coming here, you will have the best experiences in local daily life and Vietnamese culture. There are several awesome non-touristy to do in Hanoi for travelers. They are very interesting and attractive to foreigners. 1. Long Bien Market At Night

Long Bien Bridge is the famous bridge in Hanoi. However, this article, we skip mentioning it and would like to introduce a night market which is located next to Long Bien Bridge. Visiting this place, you will have the true experience of locals with a lot of stalls with various ingredients providing for many restaurants in Hanoi. This market is not for tourist so don't try to find any stalls to buy the souvenirs.

2. Swan ride on West Lake 

West Lake is the romantic places for couples every afternoon and it's very popular for expats. A lot of people prefer to ride a bike along the path around West Lake. Besides, Swan ride is also one of the best options for you if you like padding swan boats. In order to rent a swan boat, you have to go to the Southern side of Truc Bach Lake near Highlands Coffee.

3. Visit Hoan Kiem Lake in the early morning 

This place is for tourists but it will be in the afternoon and in the evening. For the early morning, this place is for local people. They come here to exercise and hang out and most of them are older people. If you would like to get the best experience with the locals, let come here in the early morning.

4. Quang Ba Flower market

if you like flowers, this place is a must for your trip here. It takes about 20 minutes from Hoan Kiem Lake. And the best time to visit this market is from midnight to 6:00 AM. When you will see a lot of people bring flowers to here with various flowers such as roses, orchids, sunflowers, lilies, and chrysanthemums. The market still opens until the late morning but it is not busy.

5. Try Egg Coffee

Well known as the specialty of Hanoi, Egg Coffee is a must thing that you should try when coming here. It is a bit difficult to find a coffee shop for this coffee so Giang Coffee is the recommendation for you.
