What to eat in Hoi An, Quang Nam?

1. Cao Lau (Rice Noodles With Barbecued Pork, Greens And Croutons)
This is the special food in Hoi An. It's made from meat, peanut, seafood, pork, noodles, and vegetables. This is the first dish that you must try in Hoi An because it's quite cheap and delicious. Depending on the receipt of each restaurant, they will mix some other ingredients for their Cao Lau and it will have a different flavor.

2. Banh Xeo (Crispy pancake)
Another dish that you must try when coming Hoi An is Banh Xeo. This dish is really delicious and cheap in Hoi An.

3. Mi Quang (Quang Noodle)

4. Banh Mi (Bread)
Not only in Hoi An but also in entire Vietnam country. Bread becomes a popular dish as a snack but bread in Hoi An has special flavor attracting many people. Depending on the shop, they can add some kinds of meat including roasted pork belly, fried fish, meatballs, boiled chicken, fried eggs,...

5. Banh Dap (Vietnamese rice crackers)

Banh Dap is a traditional snack in Hoi An. It is made by placing a wet rice paper with some mung bean paste, fried shallot, and chopped onions. It can be used with special sauce. This is a popular snack in Hoi An that you must try.
