How to get Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy in the quick way?

Nov 29, 2019 1199 Views By Hoa Do
According to the Vietnam Immigration Department's Policy, travelers can apply for Vietnam visa in two ways. Applying online or going to Vietnam Embassy directly to apply. However, applying for a visa online will save your time. For some cases, travelers would like to get their visa on the passport before departing to Vietnam. They have to apply for their visa at Vietnam Embassy by themselves. The processing time at Vietnam Embassy will be longer than online process at Vietnam Immigration Department because they will grant the visa on passport but not only an approval letter.

At the moment, we have the best way to save the time for you when applying Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy. In this way, you have to perform 02 stages as below:

+ Stage 1:  Apply for visa approval letter online to get permission from Vietnam Immigration Department
In this stage, applicants will apply for visa letter as same as visa on arrival and indicate the Vietnam Embassy requirement where they would like to get visa stamped onto the passport.
Applicants also receive their visa letter by email after 02 working days in normal service in PDF form. It's quite similar to the letter of visa on arrival. There is one different thing is that they are allowed receiving Vietnam visa onto passport at Vietnam Embassy but not Vietnam airport.

+ Stage 2: Get visa stamped onto passport at Vietnam Embassy
If you apply for a Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy, you have to wait for one week to receive your passport back attached with your visa. It will take more time for waiting. But if you have a Vietnam visa approval letter in advance by Vietnam Immigration Department, your visa will be provided after presenting the letter at Vietnam Embassy.

In short, applying for Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy will be different from receiving Vietnam visa at Embassy with an approval letter. In order to save the time, you should apply an approval letter online to get visa stamped at Embassy instead of applying at Vietnam embassy.
